News - Trollhalla Press Becomes Trollgodfather Press - To Lose ALL Tunnels & Trolls Titles

Not the clearest news, but interesting nonetheless. Note, I received this update via email from DTRPG.

This was sent out a while back however, I never pay that much attention to much to drive through emails becuse they spam the hell out of me so I save them to review later. However, Sinse I haven't been able to pay for google storage this month I am going to have to clean out my emails and found this So Today I have finally got around to Posting this email from Ken St andre Via Drive Through RPG.

Greetings, my friends.

I have some news for you.

Trollhalla Press changed its name to Trollgodfather Press.  Trollgodfather still has all its titles, but sometime in the near future, it will lose all of the Tunnels & Trolls titles as well as all of the Monsters! Monsters! titles.  If you've been putting off buying any of that, especially the pdf versions of Monsters! Monsters! don't let it slide too long.  When the new owner takes things over, prices are very likely to go up on everything.

In other news, my non-T&T games, Starfaring, Power Trip, and Rollerball have all done very well, also.  If you thought about my superhero variant of T & T, Power Trip, you might want to grab that before the end of the month too, as it probably won't be available next month.   Starfaring has already sold over 100 copies and Power Trip has over 50.  I am quite elated over the success of both of these products.

Times are changing, friends. Get the best of the old world while you can--the new world will be here before you know it.

Trollishly,

Ken St. Andre

Big Foot Sighted Along the west fork of Oak Creek Canyon

The forested canyons and rugged highlands of Arizona's Mogollon Rim have long been rumored to be a haven for the mysterious human-ape creature known as Bigfoot.

Sasquatch Sighted in Coconino National Forest! Locals go Loco.

Arizona's Oak Creek Canyon has been hit with yet another revolting and regrettable Bigfoot scare, as a lone Sasquatch was spotted loitering around the Call of the Canyon West Fork trail in Coconino National Forest.

"Dag gum it, it was totally Cuckoo in Coconino last week!", said an craggy canyon denizen old timer, "There I was, fixin' to go into that dern canyon gulch and catch me some rattlesnake fricassee, when that hairy critter ran right past me. Scared me and my mule near to death! I called it a day and went to Sedona for fish tacos instead."

Coconino Forest Federals remain quiet about the incident. "We know nothing, nothing!" said a local ranger. "We're monitoring the situation.... behind locked doors and armed with really nasty paint ball guns in case the beast returns. OK, it'd help if we had real guns, nets, and rancid food bait... we could organize a posse and catch the beast. But we don't want to frighten them pacifistic lucrative mystical crystal vortex suckers, er tourists. Those fools pay top dollar, believe me!"

"A similar beast was spotted earlier this year in the exact same area. Coincidence? I think not! How did the Bigfoot beast get there? Why did it return? When will it go away? Where is the beast's scat droppings? Who really cares? I smell a Sasquatch conspiracy, among other things. These are all questions which demand answers, darn it!"

As I am stuck in an apartment here in Shreveport Louisiana at least I aren't homeless right now but rest assured eventually I will be homeless again and when I am I am going to return to my forested home and hunt him down! Who Knows I may prove Big Foot Exists.

Yours for now Captain Hedges

Tygerian Shores Beckon! King Earl Surveys His New Domain in Zimrala!

The winds of adventure are blowing across the newly charted Tygerian Isles in the vibrant world of Zimrala! For those who have been following the exciting development of Ken St. Andre's "Monsterary of Zimrala," you know that this fantastical realm is teeming with unique creatures and untold mysteries. And now, a new chapter unfolds within its watery expanse.

Yours truly, El Tigre De Setos (also known as Earlious De Setos aka Earl C. Hedges Jr aka the new Tyger Boss of Zimralla and the Tygerian King-Emperor), has recently embarked on a momentous journey to explore the very islands I had the distinct honor of purchasing within Zimrala's upper north. Imagine the thrill of setting foot on these virgin shores, knowing that these lands now bear the proud name of the Tygerian Isles!

My first expedition has been nothing short of captivating. From the deck of my (currently imaginary, but soon to be real!) vessel, the landscapes unfolded like pages from a grand, undiscovered atlas. Lush, emerald canopies met pristine, sandy beaches. Strange and wonderful flora unlike anything I've encountered before dotted the terrain, hinting at the unique ecosystems thriving within these isles.

As the newly proclaimed (in my own enthusiastic mind, at least!) Tygerian King, I took great pleasure in surveying my domain. Each cove, each towering cliff face sparked new ideas for future settlements, hidden temples, and, of course, prime locations for observing the fascinating (and potentially dangerous!) wildlife of Zimrala.

While I haven't yet encountered any of the legendary creatures detailed in the "Monsterary" on these initial explorations, the air hums with anticipation. What strange beasts might lurk in the deeper jungles? What ancient secrets might be buried beneath the volcanic peaks? These are the questions that fuel my adventurous spirit and make Zimrala such an enthralling setting.

The process of naming these lands and envisioning their future has been a truly rewarding experience. Knowing that my Tygerians – those proud, feline warriors now officially residing in Tygeria within Zimrala – will one day call these islands home fills me with immense excitement.

This is just the beginning of the Tygerian saga in Zimrala. As the "Monsterary" comes to life, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to weave tales of exploration, discovery, and perhaps even a bit of royal decree within these newly acquired territories.

So, fellow adventurers and monster enthusiasts, the world of Zimrala is vast and full of promise. The Tygerian Isles are now on the map, ready to be explored and shaped. I invite you to join us in this incredible journey.

We'll see you in Zimrala! Keep an eye out for more tales from the Tygerian Isles and the ever-expanding wonders of this fantastic new world.

20 ways to tick off a Tygerian

So with the New Zimrala Campagin setting coming out and coming ti my game table I helped to create the Tygermen in the book known as Tygerians and yes thier are female versions weather thier in the book or not will be up to Ken St Andre who is currently editing every monster submitted to him during the kickstarter. So I am sitting here thinking of ways people have ticked me off perosonally and decided to Take them to a whole new level in the spirt of gaming and Monsters Monsters RPG here are the top 20 ways to Tick off a Tygerian. I probley shpuld do a top 20 count down but nah well start with #1 and go from thier.

  1. Hi Mr Tygerian are you a 10th Level Puss? Hell say "Ya" and then your dead as he rips your throat out!
  2. I dare you to Wuss-Slap one of them and see what happens to you lol! They put the Tyger-Claw on you and tell you this is where thier power lies, so talk to the claw!
  3. Petition to have thier Tyger-Lord Title Changed to Wuss-lord and set what thier Tyger-King Does to you!
  4. Ask them if thier Tyger-King is named Fabio?
  5. Ask Tyger-King for his Autograph as Fabio and see what happens to you!

  14. Box a Tygerians ears or give them a wet willy with them ears of theirs! Their just asking for it! However if you do don't be surprised if you end up thier next lol!
  15. You could call them bouncy and striped as they go down the trail on a pogo stick but if you do they might stick you in the ground!
  16. Point at thier fathered hats and laugh and see what happens! Tyger Bird flies up your nose and your dead!
  17. You could ask a Tygerian to play a game with you! However, if you do you will loose as you will be playing with a group of Tygerian Cheetahs!
  18. Tell them you really loved the Track of the Cat Movie and see what Happens to you!
  19. Ask them if they were in the Aristo Cats Movie and see what happens!
  20. Give a Tygerian one of your silly names like spot and see what happens! They have stripes not spots and hate pople who call them spot sorry your now nothing but a blood spot after they out you through thier blood sport of Tygerian Kung Fu lol!
I hope you liked thies update a but of hummer to get my frustrations out with the world and prevent my Tygerian from within to get out again! Have a good day every one!

Ken St Andre's Monsterary of Zimrala Update

Zimrala Beckons: Final Hours! New Map Sneak Peek!

March 2022 marked a thrilling chapter in my RPG journey, joining the creative team behind Ken St. Andre's "Monsterary of Zimrala." For those steeped in RPG history, Ken St. Andre is a legend—the mind behind "Tunnels & Trolls" and the monster-centric "Monsters! Monsters!" (M!M!). In 2020, a successful Kickstarter revived M!M!, proving its enduring appeal. Now, Ken unveils Zimrala.

With only 28 hours left to go, a few new updates have just dropped! You can head over to the Kickstarter link and read all the exciting details by clicking here. Don't miss out on the final push!

This isn't just another bestiary; it's a gateway to a fully realized world. "The Monsterary of Zimrala" delivers over 111 unique, illustrated creatures, from the Ambaina to the Zimralan Wraith, most never before seen. But it's more than a monster manual. It's a world guide, detailing Zimrala's mysteries, lost civilizations, and tumultuous past—a setting for future solo and GM adventures from Ken himself.

And here's the kicker: these monsters aren't limited to M!M.! The book includes adaptable stats, allowing you to incorporate them into any RPG system. Speaking of which, check out this sneak peek! I managed to snag a screenshot of the upper north map of Zimrala, officially drawn by the talented Steve Crompton. You can see the islands I purchased, now proudly bearing the name "Tygerian Isles." And yes, that's right, I've even gone ahead and pre-named B-2 (though I didn't buy it!) in anticipation of my upcoming game map – consider it a strategic invasion plan in the making!

I am so looking forward to this Kickstarter coming to fruition! I can barely wait to get my hands on the PDF proofread, and of course, the final printed book and that full-color map! I'm especially eager to see what Ken St. Andre has done with my tygermen, now officially known as the Tygerians of Tyger-land, which I've lovingly renamed Tygeria. Plus, all those fantastic goodies that have been unlocked through the stretch goals!

This project is a testament to collaborative passion. Ken, along with award-winning talents like Bear Peters, Stefan Jones, Debora Kerr, Steve Crompton, Liz Danforth, and others, are crafting something special. Their combined experience, spanning classics like "Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls" and "Grimtooth's Trapsylvania," guarantees a high-quality experience.

"The Monsterary" also includes GM and solo adventures within Zimrala, with even more exciting surprises likely to be revealed in these final hours. This isn't just a book; it's an invitation to explore a world built by RPG pioneers.

For me, it's a dream come true. I'm contributing to a world that blends classic RPG sensibilities with fresh, imaginative concepts. My Tygerians, once confined to my own imagination, now roam Zimrala's landscapes.

If you crave a rich, monster-filled world compatible with any RPG, and you want to be part of something truly special, head over to the Kickstarter now! With only 28 hours remaining, time is running out to pledge and secure your copy. Go look at the latest updates and pledge today, and I will see you all in Zimrala!
