Midweek Musings: Surviving the Bug, Pushing Manuscripts, and Bayou Dispatches

Midweek Musings: Surviving the Bug, Pushing Manuscripts, and Bayou Dispatches

I've been offline this week—sorry about missing the Bayou Tuesdays posts! I got hit hard with the sickness, throwing up and having to crawl right back into bed. But even through the rough patches, I've been hard at work behind the scenes on new content and new manuscripts. More information will be forthcoming on these soon. I hope everyone is staying healthy. As for me, I'm pushing through to get these manuscripts written and done.

What's Brewing in the Workshop

While the stomach bug knocked me flat for a couple of days, the creative engine never truly powers down. We are deep in the trenches on multiple fronts across the multiverse:

  • 12 Mile Bayou & Halloween Horror: The shadows are lengthening along the bayou. We've been laying down the groundwork for the upcoming Bayou Butcher's Estate haunted mansion adventure, integrating the Swamp Dread mechanics and CSI investigation engine for Ken St. Andre's Monsters! Monsters! 2.7 and the Open D6 system.

  • Manuscripts on the Horizon: Between wrestling booking notes and table-top sourcebooks, new pages are stacking up. Whether it's expanding the lore of the Tygerian Isles or pushing forward with time-traveling expeditions, there is plenty more on the way.

Drop a comment below, let me know how your own week is treating you, and stay tuned for the next full dispatch as we conquer the sickness and get back on the grid!
