Whispering Isles G.I.L. Report: Week 10 – The Spire’s First Crack
The industrial fortress has been breached. While the Fire-Smokers, Knights, and Tigers maintained their perfect records, the Stone Goliaths proved that even the "Unstoppable Spire" can be ground into gravel.
Feature Game: The Goliath Lockdown
Stone Goliaths (10-0) vs. Black Rock Spire Juggernauts (9-1)
Venue: The Living Crag
The Narrative: The Juggernauts marched into Goliaths' territory expecting a victory, but they met the Mighty Zug. Serving as the general of the stone army, Zug bypassed the Chaos Dwarfs' reliability and went straight for their throats.
The Turning Point: In a devastating tactical blow, the Goliaths fielded their own mercenary version of H'thark the Unstoppable. The Juggernauts were forced to watch their own star player carry the ball against them. With the Anvil-Guards providing a ST 5 wall, the Juggernauts' Iron Hard Skin couldn't save them from the sheer weight of the Goliaths' Mighty Blow modifiers.
Final Score: Stone Goliaths 28, Juggernauts 7.
The Specter Slump
Azatar Tribe (8-4) vs. Shadowborne Specters (7-3)
Venue: High-Plains Proving Grounds
The Narrative: The Specters have officially lost their haunting edge. The Azatar Tribe utilized high-altitude stamina and stone axes to "ground" the ethereal team, delivering a second consecutive loss to the once-feared Necromancers.
Final Score: Azatar Tribe 17, Specters 10.
Round-Robin Results: The Perfect Four
Bluebonnet Volcanous Fire-Smokers (10-0) vs. Goat Tribe (2-9): The Goats’ winning streak ended at the mouth of the volcano. Zhurong "The Smoker" incinerated the "Milk-Fog," and the Goats were quickly reminded why they are the Scapegoats. Final: 49-0.
Swan Knights (10-0) vs. Durell Rotters (1-10-1): The Knights treated the Rotters like a training scrimmage. Sir Clinton II didn't even scuff his boots. Final: 52-0.
Bengali Water Tigers (10-0) vs. Silverton Razorbacks (0-11): The Tigers simply ate the hogs alive. The "Water-Form" defense flowed through every gap, leaving the Razorbacks scoreless once again. Final: 45-0.
Mist Haven Mariners (0-10): WEEK 10 BYE. The Cursed Marauders used the week to manage their mutations and stabilize their "Living" Necromantic roster.

The Field: Teams 8–13 (Post-Week 10)
| Rank | Team Name | Record | Status | The Week 10 Fallout |
| 8 | Azatar Tribe | 8-4 | Elite Rising | The undisputed kings of the field. By beating the Specters, they’ve proven they can bleed a "god team." |
| 9 | Moon Elves | 1-9 | Glass Fragility | After another loss to the Goliaths, the Lunar Grove is struggling with "New Moon" morale and a mounting injury list. |
| 10 | Blackwood Ravens | 2-8-1 | Talon-Kin Grit | They’ve managed to snatch two wins this season by leaping over the bottom-feeders, but they remain light-years behind the Top 4. |
| 11 | Goat Tribe | 2-9 | Magna’s Chosen | Even after getting incinerated by your Fire-Smokers, they are still ahead of the Rotters and Razorbacks. |
| 12 | Mist Haven Mariners | 0-10 | Cursed/Bye | Fresh off their bye, the "Cursed Marauders" are looking to see if their new Necromantic mutations can finally buy them a win. |
| 13 | Silverton Razorbacks | 0-11 | Roasted | Still reeling from the "Pigs on a Spit" celebration. Their defense has effectively checked out for the season. |
| 14 | Durell Rotters | 1-10-1 | Bottom Feeders | Old Man Durell’s squad is officially the basement tenant. The "Rotten Rotters" are just looking to survive the remaining weeks. |
Scouting the Basement
The Azatar Ceiling: The Tribe is in a league of their own. They are too good for the Field but just a step shy of the 10-0 club. Their 8-4 record makes them the "Gatekeepers of the Trident Trophy."
The Mariners' Mutation: All eyes are on the Mist-Docks for Week 11. Now that they have the Alpha Curse Werewolves and Stitched Giants, they might finally be the team to climb out of the winless hole.
The "Roast" Recovery: The Razorbacks are mentally broken. After the Fire-Smokers’ feast, they’ve become the team everyone wants to play for an easy homecoming victory.
