Whispering Isles G.I.L. Report: Week 11 – Revenge of the Spire
While the Stone Goliaths took their scheduled Bye Week last time, the Juggernauts spent every waking hour plotting. This week, they got their rematch, and they didn't just win—they sent a message.
Feature Game: The Spire’s Retribution
Black Rock Spire Juggernauts (10-1) vs. Stone Goliaths (10-1)
Venue: The Magma-Docks Colosseum
The Narrative: The Spire didn't play fair this time. They utilized the same mercenary loophole the Goliaths used, stealing back H'thark the Unstoppable to lead their own charge. The Goliaths' Anvil-Guards were ready, but the Juggernauts were playing for blood.
The Incident: Early in the second half, Zzharg Madeye decided to settle the score for his team. He leveled his blunderbuss at The Mighty Zug. The blast was deafening. Zug was taken off the pitch with a severe injury result—he's officially in the recovery ward and will be OUT for the next two games.
The Fallout: However, the league officials didn't miss the shot. Madeye was ejected from the game for the illegal use of artillery. But the damage was done; the Goliaths were demoralized and without their general. The Juggernauts stomped them into the obsidian dust.
Final Score: Juggernauts 35, Stone Goliaths 7.
Round-Robin Results: The Sovereign 11-0
Swan Knights (11-0) vs. Silverton Razorbacks (0-12): The Sovereigns wore their Seahawk-inspired silver and Cardinal-red trim. They treated the hogs like a royal feast, winning effortlessly. Final: 49-0.
Bluebonnet Volcanous Fire-Smokers (11-0) vs. Blackwood Ravens (2-9-1): The Ravens tried to leap over the lava, but the Smokers' heat was too intense. The "Talon-Kin" were smoked out of the sky. Final: 42-7.
Bengali Water Tigers (11-0) vs. Mist Haven Mariners (0-11): The "Cursed" Mariners showed some life with their Werewolves, but the Tigers' fluidity washed them away. Final: 28-14.
Shadowborne Specters (8-3) vs. Azatar Tribe (8-4): Another shocking loss for the Specters! The Tribe utilized their high-plains grit to ground the ghosts for the third time this season. The Specters are in a full-blown tailspin. Final: 14-10.
Moon Elves (2-9) vs. Durell Rotters (1-11-1): The Elves finally got a second win! Prince Elarion picked apart the mindless Rotters, leaving Old Man Durell screaming at the mud. Final: 21-0.
Goat Tribe (3-9): WEEK 11 BYE. The Goats earn their win and prepare for their next mutagenic sacrifice.

To keep the Royal Cartographer’s maps perfectly aligned, we must record the carnage at the bottom of the standings following the explosive events of Week 11.
While the Juggernauts were busy taking revenge and your Fire-Smokers were incinerating the Ravens, the rest of the league was fighting for scraps. Here is the state of The Field as the smoke clears from the Spire’s retribution.
The Field: Teams 8–14 (Post-Week 11)
| Rank | Team Name | Record | Status | The Week 11 Fallout |
| 8 | Azatar Tribe | 9-4 | Elite Rising | They’ve officially become the "Specter-Slayers," having beaten the haunt twice now. They are the strongest team outside the Top 5. |
| 9 | Moon Elves | 2-9 | Lunar Light | A massive morale boost! By picking apart the Rotters, they’ve distanced themselves from the absolute bottom. |
| 10 | Blackwood Ravens | 2-10-1 | Smoked | After meeting the Fire-Smokers, the "Talon-Kin" are nursing singed feathers and looking toward Week 12. |
| 11 | Goat Tribe | 3-9 | Bye Victory | Earned their win through the bye. They are currently the highest-ranked 3-win team in the cellar. |
| 12 | Mist Haven Mariners | 1-11 | Cursed | The "Living Necromancy" showed promise against the Tigers, but they are still searching for that elusive first win. Corrected: Their Week 10 Bye win has them off the "winless" list. The Werewolves are hungry for a second victory. |
| 13 | Durell Rotters | 1-12-1 | Old Man's Rage | Lost to the Moon Elves. Old Man Durell was reportedly seen trying to "Raise the Dead" on a pile of actual trash in the marshes. |
| 14 | Silverton Razorbacks | 0-12 | Ghosted | Crushed by the Swan Knights. At this point, they are just counting down the weeks until the off-season. |
The Basement Report
The Rotter Meltdown: Old Man Durell is at his wit's end. After the loss to the Moon Elves, he’s threatened to fire his entire front line of Durell Shamblers and replace them with "anything that actually moves."
The Mariners' Hope: Despite being 0-11, the Mariners’ "Necromantic" transition has actually improved their scoring average. They are the "dangerous" winless team that no one wants to play right now.
The Azatar Peak: The Tribe is effectively in "No Man's Land." They are too good for the basement but can't quite break into the 11-0 elite circle.
