What’s Coming To Disney+ In October 2021 (US)

 Hello Everyone and good morning 

It’s virtual coffee time once again! As I sit here drinking coffee and watching Disney+ I thought I would tell you what has been scheduled for release on Disney+ for October.

What I know so far is the following 

In October, Disney+ will be getting new episodes of “Turner & Hooch” and “Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life” plus there will be new additions to the Disney+ library including Marvel’s “Black Widow”.

Wednesday 6th October

Black Widow

In Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina.

Turner & Hooch – Episode 12 – Finale

When an ambitious, buttoned-up US Marshal inherits a big unruly dog, he soon realizes the dog he didn’t want may be the partner he needs. “Turner & Hooch” stars Josh Peck as Scott Turner, son of Detective Scott Turner portrayed by Tom Hanks in the 1989 film of the same name.

The series also stars Carra Patterson as Jessica Baxter, Scott’s brave, street-smart partner; Brandon Jay McLaren as Xavier Wilson, a cool, enigmatic marine-turned-US Marshal; Anthony Ruivivar as Chief James Mendez, Scott’s boss with a secret soft spot for Scott’s new dog, Hooch; Lyndsy Fonseca as Laura Turner, Scott’s sweet, animal-loving sister; Jeremy Maguire as Matthew Garland, Laura’s dog-loving son; and Vanessa Lengies as Erica Mouniere, the quirky head of the US Marshals dog training program. Five French Mastiffs also star as Hooch, Scott’s slobbery, loveable French Mastiff.

“Turner & Hooch” is a Disney+ original series produced by 20th Television. Matt Nix is creator, executive producer and writer on the series. McG is an executive producer and directed the series premiere. Michael Horowitz, Robert Duncan McNeill and Mary Viola also serve as executive producers, and Josh Levy serves as co-executive producer.

“Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life” – Episode 11

“Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life” follows two tiny troublemakers, Chip and Dale, trying to live the good life in a big city park while having giant-sized, sky-high adventures. Nervous worrier Chip and laid-back dreamer Dale make the perfect odd couple: they’re best buddies and they drive each other nuts. In their perpetual pursuit of acorns, these ultimate underdogs are joined by Pluto, Butch and other iconic Disney characters as they face down bullies great and small.

Marvel’s What If – Season Finale

“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles.

Friday 8th October

Muppets Haunted Mansion

The brand-new special will feature a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, all-new music and spooky fun for families to enjoy together. “Muppets Haunted Mansion” takes place on Halloween night, when Gonzo is challenged to spend one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth …The Haunted Mansion.

Under Wraps

“Under Wraps” follows three 12-year-old friends, Gilbert, Marshall and Amy, as they happen upon and awaken a mummy, which they affectionately name Harold, and must rush to return him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween. Along the way, the team narrowly escapes a nefarious group of criminals intent on selling the mummy to the highest bidder. When Harold is inevitably captured, Marshall, Gilbert and Amy must band together to stand up to the criminals, face their fears and rescue their new—but rather “ancient”—friend.

Wednesday 13th October

Just Beyond

All eight episodes of the supernatural anthology series “Just Beyond” will premiere on Disney+ and is inspired by the writings of R.L. Stine, the series tells astonishing and thought-provoking stories of a reality just beyond the one we know. Each episode introduces viewers to a new cast of characters who must go on a surprising journey of self-discovery in a supernatural world of witches, aliens, ghosts and parallel universe.

Chip 'n' Dale: Park Life is a series featuring the Classic Disney Characters  Its vibe is a lot different from their last outing, the chatty comedy adventure series Chip n Dales Rescue Rangers -- this series hearkens back to their earlier silent slapstick antics. Moderately scary moments will likely be too intense for preschoolers. There's also brief negative feelings between characters, villains, and cartoonish injuries. While fun and silly, Chip and Dale's antics don't always set the best examples for kids. 

I am enjoying seeing Chip n’ Dale Park Life, and I am watching the old shows I saw as a kid too.

I don’t have an opinion on the other shows because I haven’t watched them yet.

So in case your wondering what I am watching I am looking forward to these releases coming up.

Goodbye 2020 Hello 2021

 Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!

AS NEW YEARS celebrations are well underway across the world, with some countries already entering the New Year. I am here in Shreveport Louisiana celebrating New Years Eve!

It has been a very wired year for me, I want to thank God for bringing me through the Covid-19 Virus, because with out his grace I could have died twice. I took Covid-19 Twice, I survived it and beat it with Gods Help and quarantine in a RV camper in  Chicot State Park.

Highlight's

I spent a lot of time at the salvation army shelter as well this past year. 

I got a new I-Pad for Early November as this was to be an early birthday and christmas gift to me.

COVID-19 UPDATES in my neck of the woods.

The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau has been carefully monitoring travel conditions in regard to COVID-19.  First and foremost, they want to protect the health and safety of thier community and visitors to Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana. As of this notice, the following measures have been taken: by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau’s Downtown Shreveport Visitor Center and Shreveport Regional Airport Visitor Center are closed to the public through May 30, 2020, to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff. The staff is working remotely to reach out to clients, event planners, business owners, and the hospitality industry to keep up with postponements, cancellations, and openings, as well as prepare for the time when we can invite visitors back into our sister cities.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards took significant measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana and has extended a statewide "stay at home" order until  May 15, 2020, requiring Louisiana residents to shelter in place unless going out for essential tasks, as one of the most stringent steps yet to stanch the “community spread” of COVID-19. 

They encourage all consumers to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including the practice of social distancing and following stay-at-home mandates. If you are an essential employee who is still reporting to work, remember that many local restaurants are offering special services during these challenging times. Please consider making use of these options.

Daily high temperatures increase by 7°F, from 73°F to 80°F, rarely falling below 62°F or exceeding 86°F.

Daily low temperatures increase by 8°F, from 52°F to 60°F, rarely falling below 41°F or exceeding 70°F.

For reference, on August 11, the hottest day of the year, temperatures in Shreveport typically range from 75°F to 93°F, while on January 8, the coldest day of the year, they range from 38°F to 56°F.

Hello and Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening which ever it is when you read the following post.

Now then this month's edition 02/17/2017 is to update and publish new blog posts.

I will be trying to be moving along and editing this website and trying to put up and add more content!

For those who don't know me, I am Earl C. Hedges Jr. Most of my friends and family who keep up with me on Facebook will already know some of the news I have to share with my blog readers.



I just started working for the Salvation Army, most already knew that I have been staying at the Salvation Army Miracle Mile Center in Shreveport Louisiana Located at 1207 Cornwall Avenue since November 1st 2019. I am still here and was hired  as a Housing Monitor NE Men's Shelter February 17th 2020. 

On gaming updates for various conventions that would have been going on this year have been cancelled until further notice I probably won't be attending any conventions for a while.

I am thinking of adding other blog posts and hobby pages for more info on new gaming campaigns, that I am trying to gear up for and run. Right now I am simply writing in some journals I was keeping when I was homeless. As well as my creative writing journal. 

I have started writing a new hex crawl for the Kingdom of Hedgewood using Matt Finches Sword and Wizardry rule set.

The ROUGAROU A Louisiana Folklore

I posted earlier on Facebook I was on the trail of the Rougarou! 

I decided I needed to make a blog post what better way then to talk about an ancient Myth or is it/he/she/whatever just an urban legend?

The Louisiana werewolf is the rougarou of the bayou - a very similar-looking creature.

Louisiana is a fascinating place and full of legends from long ago. Is there a Louisiana werewolf? Well, the rougarou of the Bayou country has a pretty strong link to the werewolf of ancient times in Europe and France. Louisiana is a lovely place to visit. However, if you do go there, it is wise to consult long-time residents on the local legends of the area, especially about creatures like the rougarou of the Bayou. It is always good to know which areas should be avoided.

Similar to the European werewolf, the rougarou is a man who can shape-shift, or transform, into a creature. The name rougarou comes from a variant pronunciation and spelling of the French loup-garou. Loup is the French word for wolf, and garou is a man who transforms, shape-shifts, into an animal.

In the French Louisiana areas, the rougarou has been the stuff of legends for several generations. The legends originally came from either the early French settlers or the French Canadian immigrants (Acadia) centuries ago.

Apparently, the Cajuns believe the creature prowls in the swamps around Acadia and Greater New Orleans. It might also be lurking around fields, forests, and maybe just anywhere it chooses to. It is a creature with a human body and a wolf head.

In Laurentian (Laurentian Mountain range) French communities, there are legends of the werewolf. Now, a werewolf, or lycanthrope, is a human who has the rare ability to shapeshift into a creature with a wolf head and human body. The rougarou has this same ability, therefore, has strong links to the werewolf.
