Bayou Tuesday: Coffee, Chaos, and the Future of the Multiverse
Good morning from the Shreveport Cabin. I want to start by saying I’m sorry I’ve been off the radar lately. I’ve been under the weather, but I’m finally moving forward with new projects. Even when I’m down, the wheels are turning, and today I had to get this update out to you all.
Waking Up in the Kitchen of Chaos
The morning started early with a fresh pot of coffee—the kind that would make my grandmother, Kay Hedges, proud. To some, she was known as "Mary," the heart of the kitchen who taught me how to cook. In her memory, I’m dedicating these recipes to her. She was a legend in Flagstaff, serving up the Hungry Man Lumberjack Special and her famous Apple Pie to anyone passing through on Route 66.
Today’s breakfast was a true Earl’s Kitchen of Chaos original. I had to adapt because I realized the only sauce I had in the pantry was a can of tomato soup!
Today's Recipe: The "Necessity" Breakfast Bowl
The Base: Jimmy Dean Sausage (browned and crumbled).
The Protein: Fresh Eggs and Mozzarella Cheese.
The Secret Sauce: One can of Tomato Soup.
The Kick: Italian Seasoning, Garlic Salt, and a hit of Mrs. Dash.
I simmered the sausage in that tomato base, added the spices, and let the eggs and cheese melt right in. It’s a savory, hearty start that even Kay would approve of.

Now that I’m back on my feet, we are pushing hard into the next era of gaming. The "Year of the Snake" scenarios have concluded, and we are moving into a massive crowdfunding campaign on G-Captain. Here is what you can expect from Striped Coast Studios:

The Void Invasion: We are bringing "Sci-Fi Goodness" to 5e, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and 13th Age. Three major empires are invading from the void, and no matter what system you play, you’ll be able to join the fight.
Angela is finalizing the art for the new boxes right now, and I am making sure all the manuscripts are polished and ready to go. Ken has been in the hospital recently and is still recovering, so we are carrying the torch to make sure these definitive editions are everything he and the fans deserve.
Moving Forward
I have to head out now. I’m taking Uncle Bill over to the VA Hospital for his appointments today. Life stays busy at the cabin, but the creative fire is burning hotter than ever.
