☕ 3 AM Whispers: Under the Weather in the Bayou

The fog is heavy over the Red River this morning, but for once, it’s not just the swamp air—it’s the view from under the covers. I’m writing this with a heavy heart and a heavy head: The flu has caught up with the Hedge Wizard again.
I was all set to dive deep into the Tygerian Isles of Achrox and give you more meat on the Monster Kids line, but the body has a way of telling the spirit to slow down. Between the chills and the fever, the only "Monster" I'm fighting today is this virus.
A Brief Sabbatical for the Captain
Because I’m down for the count, I won’t be posting as much today for our usual Bayou Tuesday rituals, and the rest of the week might be a bit quiet while I focus on recovery.
I’ve been burning the candle at both ends getting our 120-page Easter Adventure and the DriveThruRPG releases polished to a mirror finish. It looks like the "Snake" and the "Dog" both need a moment to retreat to the den and heal up.
What to Expect:
The 4 AM Jitters: Postponed until I can see straight enough to type without the room spinning.
The 12 Mile Bayou Updates: On a temporary hold so I can get back to 100% and give you the quality you deserve.
I'm trading my Pumpkin Holiday Spice for hot tea and medicine for a few days. I’ll be back as soon as the fever breaks to lead you back into Hawthorne Valley. Keep the lanterns lit and the dice rolling while I’m away.
