Wednesday Musings: The Captain’s Journey and the Strength to Persevere
It’s Wednesday morning, and as I sit here with my black coffee—my "virtual coffee time"—I’m reflecting on more than just game mechanics or island names. I’m reflecting on the road I’ve walked to get Striped Coast Studios to where it is today.
The Weight of the Storm I’ll be honest with you all: I’ve been away from the website because life hit hard. Between dealing with illness and personal issues, there were times when it felt like the fog would never lift. Being a writer and a creator is hard enough, but doing it while your health is trying to pull you under requires a different kind of strength.
Guided by Faith I haven’t reached this point alone. Thanks to God’s help in all things—He who guides my hand and my heart—I have been able to preserve. It’s through His strength that I’ve been able to keep the vision for the Urland Universe alive, even when I was too sick to get to the keyboard. Every day is a gift, and every word I write now is a testament to that perseverance.
Building the Future Getting Striped Coast Studios up and running isn't just a business move; it’s my life’s work coming to fruition. From my wrestling days as El Tigre De Setos to the quiet mornings here in the Shreveport cabin, everything has led to this. I’m back, I’m building, and I’m ready to share these Adventures with you all.
