G-Force Unleashed: Battle of the Planets D6 Stats Part 1

Welcome to all my fellow monsters across the multiverse! Today, we’re going to take a deep dive into one of my favorite cartoon shows named Battle of the Planets. This was one of my favorite cartoon shows growing up, and I decided this morning to stat them up for free for all of you to enjoy in Open D6 stats. The Image Below was created with AI and is posted here  for free

7-Zark-7 and Center Neptune

Deep beneath the ocean's surface lies Center Neptune, the sophisticated headquarters and nerve center for G-Force. This underwater fortress serves as the team's home base and early-warning system against the intergalactic threats of Zoltar and the planet Spectra.

Monitoring the multiverse from within Center Neptune is 7-Zark-7, the quirky but brilliant robot coordinator. With his trusty robot dog, 1-2-3, Zark keeps a constant watch on the monitors, coordinating missions, providing vital tactical data, and alerting the team when it’s time to "Transmute!" Though he never leaves the safety of the base, his guidance is the glue that keeps G-Force together.

  • Role: Mission Control / Tactical Analysis

  • Location: Center Neptune (Underwater Command Center)

  • Associate: 1-2-3 (Robotic Canine)

Center Neptune (Underwater Command Base)

This stat block represents a secure, undersea headquarters built directly into the bedrock and biomineralized sediment.

1-2-3 (Rover): 7-Zark-7's robotic dog. He doesn't say much, but he provides the occasional "bark" of support and stays by Zark's side in Center Neptune.

1-Rover-1 (Robot Dog): Acts as a remote sensor drone with Hover (Move: 10) and Search 4D.

Susan: The early-warning computer system located at the space station on the planet Pluto. 7-Zark-7 has a bit of a robotic crush on her, and she frequently sends him vital data on approaching Spectra threats.

Susan Interface: A high-level communication link to the Pluto early-warning station, granting 7-Zark-7 an additional +1D to Communications rolls.

Chief Anderson (Security Chief & Scientist)

Chief Anderson is the mastermind behind G-Force and the director of security for the Intergalactic Federation. As a brilliant scientist, he was responsible for developing the team's specialized weaponry, their "transmutation" suits, and the powerful God Phoenix. Serving as a father figure to Mark and a mentor to the entire team, Anderson provides the strategic oversight and technical expertise necessary to repel the forces of Spectra. He is calm, analytical, and carries the weight of the galaxy's safety on his shoulders.

Role: Director of Security / Lead Scientist

Affiliation: Intergalactic Federation / Center Neptune

Specialty: Advanced Engineering and Strategic Planning

Chief Anderson is a stern mentor, high-ranking military official, and a brilliant scientist with a degree in astrophysics. He rarely fights directly, but his knowledge of planetary defense is unparalleled.

To protect your underwater base, use this table to manage the base's automated defenses and structural integrity when a Spectra Mecha or sub-fleet arrives. These stats use the Capital Scale to match the size of invading threats.

Center Neptune Defense Systems

Roll Defense System D6 Stats & Effect Flavor Text

1 Hydro-Cannon Battery Damage: 5D High-pressure water jets designed to push back and damage hull plating.

2 Acoustic Disruptors Skill: 6D (Stun) Emits low-frequency sonar that disorients enemy pilots (-1D to their rolls).

3 Biomineral Wall Hull: +2D (Armor) Rapidly grows limestone layers to reinforce sections of the base mid-battle.

4 Thermal Deeps Cloak Stealth: 8D Releases hot vents to create a "blind spot" on enemy sensors, making the base vanish.

5 Mag-Mine Field Damage: 7D Deploys floating magnetic mines that home in on large metal signatures.

6 The "Zark" Override Special Action 7-Zark-7 hacks the enemy Mecha. Roll his Technical (9D) vs. Mecha Security.

The "Structural Integrity" Tracker

Since Center Neptune is built from natural seabed materials, it doesn't "explode" like a metal ship; it collapses or floods. Use this tracker for the GM:

100% (Solid): All systems functional.

75% (Stress): Natural rock begins to crack. Sensors drop by -1D due to interference.

50% (Breach): Minor flooding in lower sectors. Maneuverability of docked vehicles is hampered.

25% (Critical): Life support failing. Chief Anderson orders an evacuation to the Phoenix.

0% (Lost): The base is reclaimed by the ocean floor. (Perfect time for a dramatic escape!)

Environmental Hazard Table (Underwater Combat)

When fighting near the base, the environment itself is a player. Roll 1D6 at the start of every 3rd round:

Silt Cloud: Visibility drops to zero. All Gunnery and Piloting rolls are at +10 Difficulty.

Volcanic Vent: A blast of heat deals 4D damage to the nearest ship.

Pressure Pocket: A sudden shift in depth deals 2D Hull damage to any ship without "Deep Sea" hulls.

Kelp Tangle: Organic cables snag a ship. Strength check (Difficulty 15) to break free.

Bioluminescent Swarm: Local fish light up the area. No Stealth rolls possible for 2 rounds.

Calm Currents: No effect—perfect for a "showdown" moment.

G-Force Team (Standard NPC Stat Block)

For individual members of G-Force, use this "Elite Hero" template. In OpenD6, an average human has 2D in attributes; these elite guardians start much higher.

In OpenD6, the G-Force team members are highly specialized. While they share high base attributes, their Skills define their roles. All vehicles listed below are Starfighter Scale unless noted.

Mark (G-1, The Eagle)

Mark is the charismatic and courageous leader of G-Force. Raised by Chief Anderson from a young age after being orphaned, he has a strict sense of duty and loyalty to the mission. He is a crack marksman with the "eye of an eagle" and serves as the team's primary pilot and strategist. While he is a natural leader in battle, he is often portrayed as slightly awkward in social situations, preferring to focus on the safety of the group.

1. Mark (G-1) / The Commander

The leader and ace pilot of the Sonic Jet.

Jason (G-2, The Condor)

The team's second-in-command and the antithesis of Mark, Jason is impulsive, hot-headed, and fiercely brave. As a gifted race car driver and expert marksman, he serves as the chief gunner for the Phoenix. He often prefers a "shoot first, ask questions later" approach, which makes him the team's most aggressive predator in combat.

2. Jason (G-2) / The Marksman

The hot-headed rebel, expert driver, and sniper.

DEXTERITY 4D+2: Blaster/Cable Gun 6D, Dodge 5D, Vehicle Blasters 6D

Mecha: G-2 Race Car Vehicle: The G-2 Race Car

Scale: Speeder | Hull: 3D+2 | Speed: 4 | Weapons: Pop-up Machine Guns (4D, Speeder Scale)

Princess (G-3, The Swan)

Princess is the heart and technical brains of G-Force. She is an expert in electronics, computer hacking, and explosives. Independent and strong-willed, she is a poised fighter who strikes with the grace of a swan and the precision of a falcon. She often serves as a balancing force between the clashing personalities of Mark and Jason.

3. Princess (G-3) / The Specialist

Electronics expert and the team's tactical heart.

Keyop (G-4, The Swallow)

Keyop is the youngest member of the team, characterized by his unique verbal tic of chirping and stuttering. Despite his small stature, he is a formidable fighter with incredible agility. He was specialized for reconnaissance and infiltration, often using his "swallow" style to outmaneuver much larger enemies.

4. Keyop (G-4/5) / The Scout

The youngest, genetically engineered for reflexes.

DEXTERITY 5D: Dodge 7D, Melee Combat (Bolo) 6D, Acrobatics 6D

Tiny Harper (G-5, The Owl)

Tiny is the dedicated pilot of the God Phoenix and the "muscle" of the group. While his teammates are often out on the front lines, Tiny’s role is critical as he navigates the team's mobile base through dangerous space-faring missions. He has a great sense of humor and a legendary appetite for "space burgers," but his strength is unmatched when G-Force needs a heavy hitter.

5. Tiny (G-5 / The Pilot

The muscle and the primary pilot of the God Phoenix.

DEXTERITY 3D: Brawling 5D, Dodge 4D

Bird Missiles: 5D (Capital Scale)

The Science Ninja Technique (Firebird): 10D (Ignores all shields, causes 2D Hull damage to the Phoenix itself).

Last for the good guys is they're The Mysterious Ally Colonel Cronus: The leader of the Red Impulse squadron from the planet Riga. He is a mysterious and highly skilled pilot who often appears to save G-Force when they are in a tight spot. (Narrative hint: He has a deep, secret connection to Mark).

In the OpenD6 system, Colonel Cronus is built as a Legendary Ace. He is essentially "Mark with +10 years of experience." His stats reflect his role as the tactical superior who arrives to turn the tide of battle.

Special Ability: "The Red Shadow"

Because Cronus often appears out of nowhere, he can spend a Force Point (or Character Point) to automatically succeed on a Stealth or Sensors roll to enter a combat scene unnoticed, regardless of the enemy's sensor tech.

Narrative Connection: Whenever Mark and Cronus are in the same dogfight, they may combine fire or coordinate maneuvers without needing a Command roll, representing their subconscious familial bond.

To keep the game moving, the Red Impulse Wingmen are best handled as a Group Unit. They are elite pilots, but individually they aren't quite on Cronus's level.

In OpenD6, you can use these stats for any of the other two pilots in the main Red Impulse trio.

Squadron Rule: "The Triangulation Strike"

When Cronus and his two wingmen are all in the air, they can perform a coordinated strike.

Effect: If the three pilots use a "Combine Fire" action (see D6 Rulebook), they receive a +2D bonus to their Starship Gunnery roll instead of the standard +1D. This represents their perfect synchronization.

Scale: Starfighter

Maneuverability: 3D+1

Usage Tip for the GM

Since Cronus often acts as a Deus Ex Machina, you can treat the Wingmen as "Shields" for the G-Force team. If Mark or Jason are about to take a lethal hit from a Spectra Mecha, a Red Impulse Wingman can make a Starship Piloting roll to "interpose" and take the hit instead—usually peeling off with a smoky engine while shouting, "Leave this to us, G-Force!"
