Happy July 4th, Shreveport! Get ready for an electrifying Independence Day celebration as KTBS Freedom Fest lights up Riverview Park in Downtown Shreveport tonight! This year's festivities promise an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks display that will dazzle over the Red River.

Today's Sparkling Schedule:
6:00 PM: Festivities Begin! The park will be buzzing with excitement! Enjoy vibrant live music by Front Cover, setting the perfect soundtrack for the evening. There will be a fantastic selection of food trucks to satisfy every craving, engaging contests, talented artists, and plenty of activities for kids, including fun inflatables!
9:00 PM: Grand Fireworks Display! As darkness fully settles, prepare for the grand spectacle! The sky over the Red River will ignite with a breathtaking fireworks show, expertly coordinated by Pyromania Fireworks. You'll be amazed by the stunning bursts of color and light from 3, 4, and 5 inch shells, painting the night sky in a magnificent display of patriotism. Permitted Hours for Personal Fireworks
Generally: You can discharge fireworks between 8:00 AM / 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM from July 1st through July 5th.
Prohibited Hours: It is illegal to set off fireworks between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM within Shreveport and Bossier City limits.
Essential Safety Precautions
Have Water Ready: Always keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby to extinguish fireworks or in case of a small fire.
Supervise Children: Never allow young children to handle fireworks. Older children should only use them under close adult supervision.
