Friday Morning Bliss and Blooming News!

(Image of you on the porch with coffee and cinnamon rolls)

Good morning, everyone! There's nothing quite like a crisp Friday morning in Shreveport. The air is cool and carries the promise of a beautiful day, the sun is just beginning its gentle climb, painting the sky in hues of soft orange and pink, and the only sounds are the birds starting their day and the contented sigh of someone thoroughly enjoying the moment.

And what makes this moment even better? The aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls wafting from the kitchen!

This morning, I decided to treat myself (and perhaps a few lucky others later!) to a batch straight from my oven. There's something so comforting about the simple act of baking and then savoring the warm, sweet results with a steaming cup of coffee.

Speaking of comforting and familiar things, it got me thinking about our stores and the stories we've been sharing on our weblog lately. We've been focusing on the exciting world of the unexplained, much like the adventures of
Captain Hedges, as he goes cryptid hunting in all our blog stories! It's been wonderful to connect with all of you on a deeper level, sharing the heart and soul behind what we do.

On that note, I wanted to share some interesting news that resonates with what we've been talking about recently on the blog:

  • Cryptid Hunters: Just like our weblog's exploration of the supernatural, there's a fascinating world of cryptid hunting out there! Did you know that cryptids are a key part of American folklore, providing a lifeline for small towns? It's amazing how these mysteries capture our imagination. I have been writing a blog series about me Captain Hedges becoming the best American Cryptid Hunter.
  • Homebrewing Inspiration: And speaking of things made with care and a little bit of magic, just like my cinnamon rolls, the homebrewing scene has inspired many craft breweries! It's a testament to the passion and creativity that goes into crafting unique flavors, much like the unique stories we share on our weblog.
  • Content for Game Masters: We're also excited to announce that we're building a library of content specifically for Game Masters to use in their homebrew games!
  • This content is free for you to use in your games; all we ask is that you please don't repost it elsewhere on the internet. However, feel free to tell your fellow GMs about our weblog so they can come check it out for themselves!

Current Campaign Stories:

Here's a peek at the exciting campaign stories I'm currently developing:

  1. I am continuing to work on The Tygerian Isles Campaign that will be published by Trollgodfather Press.
  2. I am writing for free about my new scifi adventures of Zimrala One and have stripped-down player rules you can use with Ken St. Andrea's Humans Haimans RPG Found Here at this Link. I have also posted a scenario for it for GMs Found Here at this Link and Zimrala One Fortress in the stars Setting Guide-Rules associated with this campaign that starts in the 90th Century of the Urland Universe. The year is 8,950 and it starts a whole new era for the Urland Universe. That Link is found here for the Zimrala One Fortress in the Stars setting guide.
  3. I have been writing a whole new campaign using the Historical documents of the Vietnam War, Tiger Force, Vietnam, with the Fall of Delta Green, Lovecraftian, and Vietnamize, Cambodian folk lore Elements. I am creating a whole new set of Gaming Weblog entries here that can be used as a full campaign starting in 1965 through 1975. I will also have a few items here referring back to the French Colonial period as the De Monte Clan may have come here, with a copy of the or at least a version of the Cultes des Goules manuscript as well. Probably Ancient Cambodian sorcerers wielding corrupted magic, possibly derived from a version of the Cultes des Goules manuscript, creating new Cambodian Ghouls, among other horrors found there in Vietnam.
  4. Ken St. Andrea is working on a new book, The City of the Immortal Cat Goddess, and I have the privilege of helping to write part of the manuscript. I've already tuned it in for him to work on it. Also, I will be converting over all stats from MM 2.7 to the 2014 5e rules, so you can use the new book in the 5e as well as our MM 2.7 rules.
  5. I am continuing also working, writing, and learning about my relationship with myself, God, and others, especially dealing with these feelings of hurt, depression, and bitterness.
  6. Building the new Noir to Neo Noir City of Nocturnus to be used with Bolt Thrower Press's Lovecraft Variant rules for use with Ken St. Andre's MM 2.7 and HH rules.
  7. The Anger of Angels will be eventually coming to Zimrala to clean up all the demons that came from hell and now make thier home on Zimrala, that live there! I will be exploring elements of the 7 deadly sins of the Archdemons Vs. The Heavenly Virtues of the Archangels.
