Three Years of Love: Celebrating Our Journey at 318 Church!
x
Can you believe it? Today, May 28, 2025, marks three incredible
years since 318 Church first opened its doors! It feels like just yesterday, on May 28, 2022, we gathered for the very first time, filled with hope, faith, and a burning desire to make a difference in Shreveport. As someone who has had the privilege of serving alongside this amazing community since day one, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
Our journey began with a simple yet profound purpose, rooted deeply in Ephesians 3:18: to help all people find and truly understand the matchless love of Jesus Christ. That verse, speaking of how "wide, how long, how high and how deep His love is," isn't just a name for us; it's the very heartbeat of everything we do.
From the moment we started, our mission has been clear: "Knowing God, Engaging People, Living Changed." We believe that true faith isn't just about what happens within our walls, but how we extend God's love into the world around us. That's why our home at The Lovewell Center, located at 605 Cotton in Shreveport, is so incredibly special to us.
The Lovewell Center, operated by The HUB ministry, is a beacon of hope, dedicated to providing rescue, relationships, resources, and recovery to individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Looking back at these past three years, I am so proud of how we've grown, not just in numbers, but in our capacity to love and serve. Every smile, every shared meal, every moment of worship, every hand lent in support – it all contributes to the beautiful tapestry of 318 Church.
As we step into our fourth year, we are more committed than ever to making the love of Christ known to all who hear. We invite you to join us on this incredible journey. Whether you're seeking a place to worship, a community to belong to, or an opportunity to serve, there's a place for you here at 318 Church.
Happy 3rd Anniversary, 318 Church family! Here's to many more years of knowing God, engaging people, and living changed, all for His glory.
