Wednesday, May 28, 2025: Storm and Sunrise
I'm sitting on the porch this morning, sipping coffee with the uncles, watching the world awaken while the storm here rages on, the sun trying to shine through the cloudy gloom. It's a powerful duality, this interplay of calm and chaos, and it got me thinking about how we all navigate the storms in our lives, whether they're literal downpours or the tumultuous events that shake our foundations.
It reminds me of the Tiger Force Shadow Saga, where soldiers faced unimaginable trials in the Vietnam War, and later in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Even their children carried that legacy into similar conflicts. They endured, found strength, and pushed through, much like the sun relentlessly tries to break through the clouds. And on a grander scale, it’s akin to the cosmic apocalypses I sometimes unleash – even in their destructive implosions and explosions, there's always a new creation waiting to emerge. It’s a testament to the enduring spirit, whether it's battling on a distant shore or finding refuge in places like Zimarala, thanks to the ether dragons who control the multiverse portals.
