Bayou Tuesday: The Green Man of the Cypress Swamp
"They call me a Hedge Wizard. They have no idea how right they are."
For a long time, I have told you stories about the Tygerian Isles. I have told you about the Stone Tiger City and the glorious White Warriors of Sekhmet. But I have never really shown you me. Not the way the magic sees me.
Behold, the Green Tygerian.
Life in the Cabin
I make my home here in the Cypress Swamp of Shreveport. It suits me. The moss hanging from the trees matches my coat. The humidity keeps my senses sharp.
Inside the cabin, surrounded by jars of drying herbs, pickled roots, and ancient scrolls, I practice the old ways, often burning the midnight oil to prepare these ancient texts. I am not a High Priest of the Mountain Temple. I am a Hedge Wizard. My magic is in the mud, the roots, and the whispers of the bayou at 3 AM.
The Origin of the Green
My current form is no accident; it is the result of a catastrophic magical event that rewrote who I was. The Captain Sir Hadjes was transported through Lord Mongo Avery's unstable portal from the dragon wings of RRR'FFF. The magical backlash didn't just transport him; it transformed him into a Green Tygerian—a creature not of the stone city, but of the deep, living woods. I am the former Captain, now a self-taught, powerful magical knight.
So when you read these blog posts, know that they aren't just ink on a page. They are the chronicles of a Green Tygerian, sitting in his swamp, peering into the crystal to see worlds you can only dream of.
Welcome to my cabin.
