📅 Wintermiss Countdown: Day 3 (December 15th)
This post focuses on the strength of community (the feast) and introduces a slight complication in the Wild Card Faction (Fylgja's internal struggle).

Strength in Unity (December 15th in Cryselle)
The Tiger's Mark Rangoli proved its worth last night, guiding us against the sabotage of The Gully Lurker! The Faction War continues on all fronts, but tonight, the Wintermiss Alliance focuses on generating warmth from within.
Night 3 Ritual: The Family Bhoj
Tonight is dedicated to The Gathering. Following the Deepavali tradition of communal unity and feasting, we hold the Family Bhoj—a large, joyous, communal meal shared in the Citadel and in every neighborhood of Cryselle. This feast is more than mere nourishment; it’s a ceremonial act designed to generate collective warmth, laughter, and spiritual light—the kind of pure energy that the Shadowfrost Arch Demon cannot abide. Generating this warmth counters the cold despair that the Void attempts to spread.
The Shadow's Third Strike: The Scrapper
Tonight, Grilla’s uneasy alliance sends The Scrapper (one of the Winter Ghoulish Langley Ogre Lads). The Scrapper is obsessed with crusts and leftovers. His sabotage is aimed at demoralization: he sneaks in after the feasts and raids the tables, stealing and spoiling every bit of leftover food. By creating literal famine and despair over waste, he tries to break the spirit of generosity that powers the Vigil.
Fylgja's Shadow
Rumours from the foothills of Ice Wyrm Mountain suggest that not all of Lorea’s brood are fully committed to the Wild Card Faction’s attack. It is whispered that the hatchling Ice Dragon, Fylgja, felt the warmth of the first two nights. She is torn: she wants to make new friends within the Wintermiss Alliance but remains fiercely loyal to her mother. Her conflict is a fragile, unpredictable variable in this Four-Way War—a small sliver of hope that the Ice Dragons might one day choose peace.
Protect the kitchen scraps and share generously at the Family Bhoj, Tygerian monsters! Let your warmth be your weapon!
