๐Ÿ“… Wintermiss Countdown: Day 7 (December 19th)

๐Ÿšช Twelve Days of Wintermiss: Day 7 – The Bracing of the Threshold

Holding the Line (December 19th in Cryselle)

Seven flames now burn bright in our windows! The Aetherial Corona is pulsating with power, but as the light intensifies, so does the desperation of the Shadowfrost. Tonight, we focus on the sanctity of our homes and the strength of our boundaries.

Night 7 Ritual: The Infinite Brace

Tonight is dedicated to The Threshold. To protect our peace, the Tygerian monsters perform the ritual of the Infinite Brace. Using small, iron replicas of the Rod of Infinite Spanning, families "span" their doorframes and window sills.

This ritual isn't just about physical security; it’s a spiritual anchoring. By invoking the power of the Rod, we remind the Void that our homes are infinite in their resolve and cannot be breached by the chaos of the Faction War.

The Shadow's Seventh Strike: The Door-Slammer (Hurรฐaskellir)

Enter the loudest nuisance of the Winter Ghoulish Langley Ogre Lads: The Door-Slammer. Unlike his brothers, he doesn't care about being sneaky. He wants to wake you up. He wants to startle the Tygerian monsters, breaking their meditative focus and flickering the flames of the Aetherial Diya.

He runs through the streets of Cryselle, reaching out with elongated, grey arms to slam any door or shutter left unbraced. Each slam echoes with a "Void-Boom" that can shake the very foundation of a house.

Monster Stats (M!M! 2.7): The Door-Slammer

  • CON: 20 | STR: 22 | DEX: 15 | INT: 10 | LK: 12 | CHR: 3

  • Combat Adds: +25 (His slams deal sonic damage)

  • Special: The Void-Boom (Requires a CON save or be stunned for 1 round).

Lorea’s Fury

The noise is even reaching Ice Wyrm Mountain. The Great Dragon Lorea is agitated by the constant booming in the valley below. She sees it as a challenge to her territory. The Wild Card faction is restless, and the peace of Wintermiss hangs by a thread.

Brace your doors and keep your flames steady, Tygerian monsters!
