CAPTAIN HEDGES MIDWEEK MUSINGS 3 AM WHISPERS

3 AM Whispers: Wisdom for the Mid-Week Course

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025

Good morning, everyone. It's Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, and it’s 3 AM here at the cypress swamp cabin overlooking the Red River in Shreveport. The bayou is settled in its mid-week quiet, but the air is still charged with the icy energy of the Thirvaldi portal, now active and demanding work.

We have our plans—both the long-term course laid out by the Tygerian calendar (Pausha Lythari) and the immediate work of the playtest. The challenge now is moving from the planning stage to the execution stage without getting lost in the details or making mistakes. Wednesday often highlights where our knowledge falls short and where we need greater clarity to proceed.

In these quiet hours, when we realize the limitations of our own foresight, we have a clear directive on where to turn for help. I turn to James 1:5:

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."

At 3 AM, this scripture offers profound reassurance. It eliminates the fear of asking, promising that God gives generously and without finding fault. Whether you need wisdom to navigate a complex family issue, a tough decision on the Thirvaldi game mechanics, or simply the best way to manage your time, the answer is the same: Ask.

As this Wednesday unfolds, let's step into the mid-week with confidence, knowing we don't have to rely solely on our own intellect. Ask God for the specific wisdom you need to execute your plans perfectly, knowing He is ready to grant it generously.

I wanted to make sure I got this out to you all now. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers. Have a blessed Wednesday.
