For Day 10 (December 22nd), the countdown is reaching its peak. We light the tenth ceremonial Aetherial Diya, and the light from the Tygerian homes is now a brilliant gold. Tonight, we look outward to the stars—but something is looking back through the glass!
๐ญ Twelve Days of Wintermiss: Day 10 – The Vision of the Meridian
Ten Flames Burning for the Truth (December 22nd in Cryselle)
Ten flames are burning now, Tygerian monsters! The Aethereal Corona has thickened into a protective shell of light, glowing like a halo over the city of Cryselle. As the Shadowfrost Arch Demon prepares his final assault, we look to the heavens to find our true position in the multiverse.
Night 10 Ritual: The Meridian Alignment
Tonight is dedicated to The Vision. In these dark times, seeing clearly is an act of rebellion. Using instruments modeled after the Scope of the True Meridian, families gather at their windows to peer through the frosty night. The Scope allows us to see past the illusions of the Void and find the "True Meridian"—the spiritual ley line that connects All the Tygerian Isles on Zimrala to the heart of the Ice Dragons' realm, on Thrivaldi? Or does it Lead to Isdis the Tygerian Ice Queens Domain.
Roll 1d6 on the Table below for the Hedge Gate Portals
- Ice Wyrm Montanan (Thrivaldi)
- The Black dragon Doman fenland Bog (Achrox)
- Peggys Cove (Achrox New Location Coming Soon)
- Tuslan Wizards Lighthouse Tower (Tuslan)
- Winter Haven Red Wizards Lighthouse Tower (Thrivaldi)
- Isdis the Ice queens Domain Welcome to Crysele on (Thrivaldi)
By aligning our Scopes, we anchor our reality. It is a night for clarity, for seeing the truth of our friends and the hidden plots of our enemies.
The Shadow's Tenth Strike: The Window-Peeper (Gluggagรฆgir)
But be warned: if you look through the glass, you might see a bulging eye looking back! The Window-Peeper (the tenth of the Winter Ghoulish Langley Ogre Lads) is the voyeur of the Shadowfrost.
He doesn't want your food; he wants your secrets. He presses his long, pale nose against the glass, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Tygerian Isles Treasure Book. If he spots something valuable, he leaves a "Frost-Mark" on the pane—a beacon that guides the Shadowfrost army directly to your door.
The Wyrm’s Watch: Lorea and Fylgja
High on the ridges of Ice Wyrm Mountain, the dragons are stirring. Fylgja, the young Ether Dragon, is using her draconic sight to monitor the city. When she sees a Window-Peeper's Frost-Mark, she breathes a small burst of concentrated aetherial heat, melting the mark before the Shadow can track it.
Beside her, the Matriarch Lorea watches with a mixture of predatory focus and pride. The "Wild Card" is no longer just a spectator; she is a guardian of the Tygerian people.
