The Siege Deepens: Beyond the Gates

While the defenders of Zimrala One are still washing Ophidian ichor off the docking pylons, the Empire has not stayed idle. They aren't just attacking a station; they are trying to suffocate the entire Tygerian Reach. Reports are flooding into the Shreveport Cabin from the Stellar Cartographers Guild—the "Life Blood" is being diverted.

The Ophidians have deployed Aether-Snakes: massive, organic-mechanical living conduits that latch onto the multiverse portals and drain the resonance before it can reach the local systems.

The Bio-Tech Terror: The Slither-Drones

Today, the Tiger Force encountered something new in the dark. The Ophidians have launched scouting swarms of Slither-Drones. These aren't machines; they are bio-engineered serpents infused with obsidian tech, designed to slip through the smallest maintenance shafts.

• The Tactic: They aren't here for a fair fight. They carry Neuro-Toxin payloads meant to paralyze the station’s engineers, stalling the repairs of the portal stabilizers.

• The Counter-Measure: This is where the Resonance Pistols from Gideon Thorne’s "Legacy Series" are proving their worth. The high-pitched "Sting" of the crystal discharge shatters the drones' bio-organic sensors instantly.

Personal Log: A Captain’s Resilience

Even as I coordinate the defense from the cabin, dealing with my own "biological interference" (the flu is a stubborn enemy), the mission continues. My immunity to the Ophidians' primary chemical weapons is our greatest tactical advantage. While the rest of the crew has to wear sealed enviro-suits, I can walk right through their toxic fog to reset the Meridian breakers.

• Weakness: Vulnerable to Sonic/Resonance damage. Thorne’s Crystol-Tech deals +1D6 damage to these units.
