Year of the Snake: Day 25 – The Gristlegrim Iron Works
By Captain Hedges Log Date: January 25, 2026 Location: The Great Forges of Zimrala / T.R.S.F. Shipyards Status: FULL PRODUCTION MODE
The Ophidians are "assimilating" technology, but they’ll never understand the Gristlegrim Forge.
For 27 years, while the rest of the world looked at the stars in fear, the Gristlegrim were under the mountains and in the deep-space docks. They took the "alien tech" from '99 and made it better. They didn't just copy it; they dwarfed it.
Earlier today, the fleet survived a brush with a "Void-Sin" pocket near the Havashar Moon. It was a grim reminder of what we are up against, but the Gristlegrim iron held firm.
I spoke with High Artificer Thrain of the Gristlegrim today. He was buffing the hull of a new Steelers-Class Juggernaut. He told me, "Captain, let the snakes have their 'Void-Sin.' We have Gristlegrim Iron and a 20-pound sledge. Let's see which one breaks first."
When the Cobra-Class ships try to bite into our fleet, they’re going to find out that Tygerian hulls don't just bend—they bite back.
