Year of the Snake: Day 16 – The Trinity Engine Personnel Files (Leo Galaxy Edition)

As I mentioned in the previous dispatch, the Shreveport Cabin is undergoing a mandatory "White Glove" inspection today. I am currently offline, deep in the trenches of organization and cleaning.

But a Captain never leaves his crew empty-handed.

To fight the Deep Shroud and the Ophidian Empire, you need more than just generic heroes. You need characters forged in the fire of the Trinity Engine.

Below are the Authorized Archetypes, fully adapted from the D6 System to fit the Leo Galaxy Sector. I have translated the generic occupations into their "Holy Sci-Fi" equivalents. Grab a template, swear your oath to the Lion, and roll for initiative.

The Void-Hunter (formerly Supernatural Hunter)

  • Profile: You strive to destroy "Void-Spawn," "Ether-Ghosts," and other non-Human fiends who threaten the Sector. You use the Arial to hunt the darkness.

The Chaplain of the Arial (formerly Cleric)

  • Profile: You’ve been flying the rim since before the war started. You hate regulations, but you know the star-lanes better than any computer.

The Combat Sawbones (formerly Medic)

  • Profile: When a Marine takes a plasma bolt to the chest, you are the only thing keeping them out of the grave.

The Demolitions Sapper (Mutant)

  • Species: Human (Void-Touched)

  • Ads/Disads: None. Flaws: Quirk (R3: Compulsively Talkative).

The inspection team is almost at the airlock, but I managed to squeeze one last data packet through the comms relay.

We covered the humans in the last file. But the Leo Galaxy Sector is vast, and humanity is not alone in this war. If you want to play something with a bit more... divine horsepower... or delve into the darkness of the Void, you need Part II.

The Ophidian Imperial Officer

  • Species: High Ophidian (Pureblood)

  • Attributes: Reflexes 2D, Coordination 2D, Physique 2D, Presence 4D (Intimidation), Knowledge 4D (Tactics), Perception 4D.

  • Ads/Disads: Authority (R3: Imperial Fleet). Flaws: Arrogance (R2), Cold-Blooded (Physically needs heat).

  • Gear: Officer’s Blaster (4D), Code Cylinders, Datapad with Troop Manifests, Immaculate Uniform.

  • Profile: You command the Clunker Legions from the bridge of a Destroyer. You view other species as cattle to be harvested for the Empire.

For players who work for a living.

The Space Dwarf Engineer (Void-Smith)
