Bayou Tuesday: A Breach in the Vessel – Time to Heal
Date: June 24, 2025 Source: The Hedge Wizard of the Shreveport Cabin Topic: The Sleep Mode of the Hedger
Welcome back to Bayou Tuesday. Usually, this is where I give you the latest intel on the rifts and the monsters creeping through the Ogiepanogie, but today, the report is a bit more personal. It seems even a Hedge Wizard isn't immune to everything the swamp throws at him.
Battling the Bugs
Those bugs got the best of me, and I’ve been hit with a sickness that’s forced me into a bit of a "Sleep Mode." When you’re guarding a dimensional breach, your physical vessel is the first line of defense, and right now, that vessel needs some serious repair. I’m battling my way through it, but it means the updates from the cabin are going to be a little late and things will be slowing down for the rest of the week.
The Importance of the Long Rest
In the world of Monsters! Monsters! 2.7, even the strongest Paragon needs to heal up their CON. I’m taking this time to sleep, let the magic settle, and heal up so I can get back to full strength. The rifts aren't going anywhere, and the Dimensional Vanguards are still watching the ley lines while I'm out of commission.
Keep your eyes on the water, but don't expect too much noise from the cabin until the fever breaks. I'll be back at the desk with the crystals once I've cleared this out of my system.
