THE STORY: The Knights sent a message to the world last week with that 30–6 dismantling of the Water Tigers. But today, they aren't playing in the salt air. They are playing on the rim of a literal volcano.
THE X-FACTOR: Can the Knights' "Ink of Anticipation" predict a volcanic eruption mid-play? If they can’t handle the heat, the Smokers will incinerate the dream of 20–0.
NOCTUNIS CITY: THE URBAN WAR
The City Cup Final
Down in the streets, it’s a battle of grit vs. tactical genius. The winner of this clash earns the golden ticket: a trip to the Whisper Bowl and a shot at the legendary Sirens Cup.
THE MATCHUP: Sewer Gaters vs. Silverton Super Apemen (Silverbacks)
THE STORY: The Gaters are coming off a 30–10 "Swamp Attrition" masterclass against the Azatar. They want to turn this game into a gutter brawl. But the Silverbacks—the "Apemen of the East"—have spent the season mailing opponents like a post office.
THE X-FACTOR: Discipline. The Gaters play dirty; the Silverbacks play perfect. In the City Cup, the first team to lose their cool is the first team to go home.
