The Ophidians are moving their Cobra-Class Bio-Ships into a pincer formation, thinking they have Hedges' Landing cornered. They are staring at the island, waiting for us to surrender.
They don't realize that Swan Island isn't a place. It’s a ship.
I gave the order to High Artificer Thrain at 0600 hours: "Unleash the Spire."
The ground beneath the Shreveport Cabin shook as the Gristlegrim stabilizers kicked in. The massive central tower—The Spire—began to glow with the pure, white-hot energy of the Arial Light. It’s not just a building; it’s a focused reflex-emitter tuned to the Seven Heavenly Virtues.
When the Cobra-Class lead ship, the Apex Predator, tried to phase through the void, the Spire fired. A beam of solid light cut through the "Void-Sin" shadows like a hot knife through butter.
"You can't assimilate the sun," I told the bridge crew as the enemy flagship's organic hull began to boil away.
Swan Island is now rising. The Gristlegrim thrusters are lifting the entire landmass into the upper atmosphere. We aren't just defending the Reach anymore. We are taking the fight to them.
